About

The Nebraska Unit was founded in 1961 with Adrian Sevinski serving as the first president. The Nebraska Unit is one of eight in Region 8. From its roster of members over the years, the Nebraska Unit has furnished two International presidents: Henry Geisert in 1968-69 and Paul Demarest in 1983-84. The unit has also furnished four Region 8 presidents: Clare Buskirk, 1968-69; Werner “Doc” Weiseth, 1983-85; Ed Pelecky 1989-91; and Bob Olson, 1998-2000. This unit has been very active in offering caravans to the International Rallies and to special events within the geographic area. Several rallies a year are offered in locations of special interest, usually within the state of Nebraska. Since the majority of the members live in the metro areas of Omaha and Lincoln, a regular monthly luncheon is held on the second Monday of each month in Omaha as a social activity. A unit newsletter is also published several times during the year.

On our website you will find: The Unit Newsletter with announcements, the Activities schedule, a listing of current officers, and an active committee list. For membership information, contact any Officer or Committee member. or go to Membership Application.
